The Rainbow Routes March Hike Club will explore the New Sudbury Historical Trail on an evening walk. Join us as we pass through forested areas in the northern side of our city, passing through Conservation Sudbury land. The hike, held in partnership with the New Sudbury West CAN, will return to the starting point.
When: Saturday, March 2, 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
Distance: 4 km
Meet: New Sudbury Historical Trail 320 Lasalle Blvd, west/ to the left of the Lasalle Cemetery
Carpooling/Smart Commute is recommended as parking is limited. Ride city transit for FREE to the event! Just tell your driver you are headed to the event.
Dress: Layer for weather. This hike is ideal for winter boots.
Difficulty: Easy to moderate, depending on weather conditions.
Terrain: Snow covered gravel, 1.5m average width. Flat with some minor incline.
Duration: 2 Hours.
